I think a 2 channel for the front would be better than a 4 channel all around. For example, 2x100RMS for the front and run the backs off the head unit would be far far better than 4x50RMS and power all speakers off the amp. Like others have said, if you want accoustical quality, 90% of the sound should come from the front, and rear should be fill/ambience/whatever. My JL Audio 5/500 amp is a 5 channel, 100 RMS to the fronts, only 25RMS to the rears, and 250RMS for a sub. Extremely high quality amp btw.
